Now we delve into chunky stamps. This was last years Christmas card. You can buy these in card/envelope sets of 10. They come in white, cream and other colors. I used cream. I chose this chunky stamp because it is a replica of the tree I have hanging in my dining room year round. You use acrylic paint ( I used two shades of green and silver for the star). Paint the chunky stamp, then stamp it onto a paper plate to get off the excess. You will not need to do this once you learn how much paint to apply/not to apply to the stamp. Try a few and you will get the idea. I used a Strathmore Sketch pad, 5.5 x 8.5, for the inside piece. You can set this up in a card making program and print them. Then just run a "bead" of glue stick down the center of the unfolded card and press your insert on it. This was my way of sharing something handmade with about 100 people. The second card is my 2000 (didn't scan too well). Process is the same but I sponged the night sky with very dark blue and stamped a silver star. My inserts were in Polish and Hungarian.
