Magical wee folk are elves. Brownies are from Scotland, Leprechauns from Ireland, Trolls and Gnomes from places like Norway, and Pixies from Britain. Leprechaun's are about two feet tall, ugly, old, and have a temperamental nature. Supposedly, leprechauns are aloof and unfriendly, are loner's, and are shoemakers. The name leprechaun means shoemaker. They also all have their pot of gold. And if you haven't noticed they all seem to be male. If caught, you can force him to reveal his gold, but you can't take your eyes off him If you do he vanishes and all hopes of finding the treasure are lost.
